Just because you were born in poverty does not mean you have to live in poverty all your life. So what if you came from a poverty-stricken family? Who ever said that being poor runs in the blood? This is why there’s such a class in the society now branded as the Nouveau Riche. I’m not only referring to those who strike it rich because of pure luck. Believe me, it can happen to anyone. And those who win the lottery and become millionaires overnight are just a small statistic.
All it takes is to have the confidence to break free from the poor man’s mantra and the conviction to replace this with thoughts of being rich and taking action.
Take a look at the success stories of the Nouveau Riche men and women from all over the world featured in Nouveau Riche. They should serve as inspirations to us. If they can escape poverty, we can, too. That is, if we’re only as brave enough to dare use and make money out of our innate talents and skills.
I would have to say that those who started poor and spent the rest of their lives in poverty are those who just did not have the willpower or guts to try hard enough, because in this world, there’s just no way we can run out of lucrative ideas and markets to tap.
